What folks are saying about The Flying Accusations.

Black Dog Cafe - Lantzville
"The Flying Accusations are the kind of group that picks you up and gets your attention with their obvious talent and real knack of connecting with the audience. Our cafe patrons were completely enthralled right from beginnning to end! Have already booked them again!"

Denman Hall - Feature Performers
"The Accusations were not the only thing flying at a recent concert on Denman Island. The snow was thick and heavy, but that didn't slow these guys down! These guys came ready to play and from the first tune to the last, they had an enthusiastic crowd. What can you say about a Flying Accusation's show? They harmonized over solid rhythms and each added an element that somehow all gels into a lot of fun! If you thought acoustic folk sing alongs were gone, think again! With a vast repertoire that spanned original and gospel old-timey tunes to John Prine, Fred J Eaglesmith, and from Country Rock to Bob Dylan, the tunes were always delivered fresh. Like they say, they have a type of 'comfortable mayhem' on stage. Friendly bantering, mock concern, sly winks and of course those flying accusations!... A musical party... Especially considering we had a raging winter storm outside.
Thank you Accusations for a great show, but next time you can leave that snow at home!"

Savary Island Volunteer Fire Department Fundraising Gala
"You might think there must have been some impropriety if I tell you the Flying Accusations fell into my lap! But it was a serendipitous happening that they came to be and play on Savary Island this summer. My partner Phil and I met friends in Cumberland at the Fred Eaglesmith concert. They introduced us to their good buddies, the members of the FAs who were there communing with Fred & his gang. The short story is that after the concert, we were invited over to a little followup soiree and jam. When one of the FAs heard we were from Savary, he mentioned that they've been wanting to come to Savary. Thank goodness I was quick on my feet: "Have we got a deal for you."
The deal was a fundraising event on behalf of the Savary Island Volunteer Fire Department. Billed as a small "g" gala, we SOLD OUT the 90 tickets for dinner and music. The setting was stunning - The band on an outside stage with the sea and sunset as backdrop. Multicolored tables and a diversity of islanders intermixing, the band then bringing us together with rhythm and meaningful tunes. Later in the evening the wind coaxed us to the inside space and folks danced until the day turned. It couldn't be sweeter than that! But for a few of the community musicians and our neighbours it actually was... The next morning we served brunch on our cabin deck and the FAs graced us with an intimate session of beautiful music. It was in all a very special memory-making weekend. A special thanks to Robert for guiding us (and the band) through the arrangements for our first Savary Island gala. Thanks Flying Accusations! Friends for life!"

"The Flying Accusations have been one of the most talented and involving groups of musicians we have had the pleasure to host. They are consistently true to the roots of 'down home' musical form while investing their own unique spirit, innovation and humor; allowing the audience to reap the rewards. Thanks to gentlemen such as these, the circle will indeed remain unbroken."

"What a pleasure to see five grown men having such a great time making wonderful music!
One of our top acts; consistently requested time and time again.
Thanks guys for making our market sound so harmonious!"

"We were just lucky enough to have the Flying Accusations play at the Moss Street Market again this past Saturday. As always they were brilliant. They are so generous with their incredible harmonies and their energy adds a spice and flavour to the market that is warm and appealing. Adults are drawn to the music tent but it seems to be the kids that are immediately enthralled by them. There never fails to be a large crowd of small people dancing around and that is what a market should be about, good music and happy children. Thanks for spending time with us, we sincerely hope you will be back next season."
